Matygowa Osada sits in Gliczarów Górny at 942 metres, so high that the mountains stay in view all day. They are the first thing you see from bed in the morning and the last thing to fade at night, above the hot tub. Sometimes sheep graze just beyond the fence, and you can hear their bells across the whole meadow. We built these houses for families and friends who want to be together and still have a corner of their own.

A day at the settlement
Dawn
For ten minutes the snow outside the window is pink. It is worth setting an alarm.
Day
The slopes in Białka and Bukowina are a few minutes away. Come back when your legs have had enough.
Dusk
The hot tub steams in the frost. You are in hot water while the peaks go dark one by one, from the west.
Night
A fire in the hearth, everyone at one table, and nobody checking the time.
Inside the house
Every house has 120 m² over two floors, in one of two layouts. Hawrań, Gerlach and Świnica have the living room on the ground floor. Wołoszyn, Łomnica and Lodowy have the living room upstairs and an extra en-suite bathroom in the upstairs bedroom.
Kitchen and table
A full kitchen with an induction hob, oven, dishwasher and coffee machine. A table big enough for the whole family.
Four bedrooms
Three with a double bed, one with two singles that push together. Bed linen and towels are ready.
Bathrooms and sauna
Two bathrooms and a separate WC, plus a third, en-suite bathroom in the houses with an upstairs living room. And a private sauna. On the terrace, an outdoor hot tub.

Two seasons, the same view
Winter
In winter Gliczarów is white and quiet. Ski slopes a few minutes away, sleigh rides, thermal pools, and in the evening a hot tub in the snow.
Summer
In summer the meadows smell of hay and the trails start close by. Bikes, rafting on the Dunajec, long evenings on the terrace.
Close to everything, far from the crowds
Zakopane is 15 km away, Slovakia 13 km. Close enough to visit, far enough for quiet evenings.
True luxury is comfort in harmony with nature
Heat pumps and solar collectors provide about 90% of the energy the settlement uses, and we have our own ecological wastewater treatment plant. All you notice is a warm floor and clean air.
